The Sisters' Sanctuary™ Inner BeauTea Party™ is a real tea party that reinstates the African Proverb, “it takes a village to raise a child” by providing a nonjudgmental space for adult women and female youth within the Hip Hop generation to exchange points of view on topics such as: Father-daughter dynamics, “Daddy’s Little Girl,” and “Sexism in the City: How sexism affects Black women.”

The overall mission of this venture is to encourage adult women to spend 8 hours of quality time with female youth per month and to compliment each other’s inner beauty.

These interactive workshops explore themes of self esteem and empowerment, positive body image, sexism, communication, basic nutrition, hair appreciation, sexuality, healthy relationships, parent/child dynamics, obsession and addiction, pampering, mental wellness and stress reduction.

MiniRetreats (1day)

Retreats include various wellness topics for developing women, self message techniques, Intro to forgiveness, stress reduction, Mental Wellness, Body Ownership, creative journaling techniques, pamper planning, Aromatherapy 101, and How to create your own sanctuary on a budget.

Decoding Hip Hop Culture & Communication for the Confused and Frustrated Adult

Sensitivity training for teachers, administrators and parents who interact with the HipHop Generation. Presents techniques on how to communicate effectively for optimal academic and personal performance. Encourages adults to look past the façade and through the language to discover the humanity of young people. Sensitivity training and empowerment training for teachers, administrators and parents who interact with female youth of the Hip Hop Generation.

Exposes techniques on how to improve self esteem and create a positive and affirming classroom, school or home environment. Encourages adults to inspire female youth to make healthier choices regarding relationships, sex and sexuality, parent/child and alcohol and drugs.

Interactive workshops for males ages 8 to 108 that teach the spiritual, physical and emotional value of womanhood.
